Apple's iOS 18 Beta 3 just arrived! We now have a new wave of refinements and exciting new features for iPhone users. Here are some of the main changes worth calling out. Personalization Updates Apple continues to focus on enhanced personalization, starting with the Dynamic Island for iPhone 14 Pro users. Beta 3 refines the flashlight interface within the Dynamic Island, offering a revamped UI with clearer graphics for adjusting light intensity and beam width. Continuing with personalization, Apple is introducing automatic dark mode tweaks for app icons. Beta 3 utilizes machine learning to intelligently convert app icons to a dark mode aesthetic, ensuring a more seamless user experience. Adding more customizations, you can add a little life into your home screen with dynamic wallpapers. This new feature allows wallpapers to subtly change colors throughout the day, adding a touch of personality. Photo and Messaging Changes The Photos app is getting a little revamp and usability boos...

Introduction to TOTD

Welcome to TOTD… Thought Of The Day!  In this series of posts, I'd like to share thoughts and idea about popular technologies and devices that we use, interact with, or dream of, on a given day.

When you make a choice on something, do you ever write out the pros and cons or have a discussion with someone close to you?    Maybe you're the person who just makes a decision and goes with whatever comes next.  You could even be bold and just throw up a poll on social media, to see what the masses decide.  For a lot of things, there's no right or wrong way to make a decision, everyone should do what they're comfortable with. For me, I like to consider the possibilities of each choice, and think outside the box of what is the best choice, why, and maybe what could happen next.

There's also thoughts on will this tech actually work or is it a fad... or just a plain bad idea.  I think everyone has gotten something that they thought would be great, but ended up becoming a paper weight or one of many decorations in your house.  There are new ideas showing up every day.  Whether it actually be a truly new idea or just a copy, it's hard to keep track of them all.  One of the best ways to learn about what is out there, is for people to share the knowledge, write a review, or maybe just try it out for themselves.  We should all share what we know and have learned, to help others around us or who are having the same thoughts and ideas.
